Report Batches
You can get to this window by clicking Reports > Report Batches > Manage Batches from the main menu.
A report batch is a saved series of reports that Moneylender generates in one click. Each batch appears as an item on Reports > Report Batches; running one saves every report in the batch as a file—into a dated folder on Moneylender desktop, or a single zip download in Moneylender Online. See the Report Batches guide for a complete walkthrough.
Batches
The left side of the window lists the batches in your portfolio.
New – Create a batch. Enter the Batch Name that will appear on the Reports menu, and choose Save Reports As: CSV Spreadsheets or PDF Documents. The format applies to every report in the batch.
Edit – Rename the selected batch or change its file format.
Delete – Remove the selected batch and its report entries. The reports themselves are not deleted.
– Generate every report in the selected batch right now, the same as clicking the batch's name on the Reports menu.
Reports in Batch
The right side of the window lists the reports in the selected batch, in the order they will run. The files are numbered in this order, so the finished folder or zip lists them the way you arranged them here.
New – Add a report to the batch. Choose the report and set the options it should use each time the batch runs—only the choices that report offers will appear:
- Date Range – preset ranges like Previous Month are recalculated every time the batch runs; a Custom range keeps the exact dates you enter.
- Loan Status – limit a portfolio-wide report to open or closed loans.
- Show Account – which account's transactions a transaction report shows.
- Lender – one lender, all lenders, or itemized with a table per lender.
- Loan – reports that cover a single loan ask you to choose the loan with the Choose Loan button.
Edit – Change the selected entry's report or options.
Delete – Remove the selected entry from the batch.
Up – Move the selected entry earlier in the batch.
Down – Move the selected entry later in the batch.
You can also add a report without opening this window: set the report up in the report viewer and click its +Batch toolbar button to capture the viewer's current settings into a batch.
